Sessoms Scholarship

The Walter W. Sessoms Scholarship

The Library offers the Walter W. Sessoms Scholarship which provides much-needed “gap” funding to assist Atlanta University Center students in the completion of their degrees. The scholarship, named for retired BellSouth (now AT&T) executive Walter W. Sessoms, who was a great supporter of higher education and a former member of the Library’s Board of Trustees, is awarded to one student from each of the Atlanta University Center schools.  For more information and application requirements, contact 404.978.2101.
