The Morehouse College Martin Luther King Jr. Collection

Martin Luther King, Jr.

Since September 14, 2006, the Archives & Special Collections Department of the Robert W. Woodruff Library of the Atlanta University Center has been home to the books and writings of the Morehouse College Martin Luther King Jr. Collection. The Woodruff Library of the AUC assumes this role as the official and only library operating to serve the information needs of the students and faculty of Morehouse College (King's alma mater) as well as Clark Atlanta University, the Interdenominational Theological Center and Spelman College.

At present, the Morehouse King Collection is not open for scholarly research or public viewing. The collection must be inventoried and preserved before research access can be provided. It will be at least a year before the collection will be available for scholarly review. Media announcements will be made when the collection is open to the public for research and study.
