Beginning Friday, February 23, the Robert W. Woodruff Library of the Atlanta University Center will offer faculty and students more time in the Library to prepare for spring mid-term exams and projects. Hours of operation will be extended to 1 AM on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday leading into mid-term exams. The Library will begin 24-hour operations on Monday, February 26, at 7:30 AM and remain open until Thursday, March 1, at 12 midnight. Hours of operation on Friday, March 2, will be from 7:30 AM-6 PM.
During the 24-hour operation period, users may expect the following:
• After 6:00 p.m., any person entering the library must present his or her valid Atlanta University Center (AUC) identification card. Users will not be admitted without valid AUC identification card.
• Service desks will be staffed until 1:00 a.m. From 1:00-8:00 a.m., only user-initiated Library services will be available, including:
• Quiet study
• Access to the Library’s electronic resources and online catalog
• The ability to place interlibrary loan requests online
• The ability to check one’s circulation record online
• Internet access
• Word processing
• Copying and printing
Regular shuttle service will be available until 12:30 a.m. From12:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m., a one-way shuttle will be available to take students from the Library to the campuses.
