The Information and Research Services Department of the Robert W. Woodruff Library of the Atlanta University Center is initiating a “Research Rescue Room” service on Monday, October 2. The “Research Rescue Room” will operate Monday–Thursday evenings from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in Training Lab 1 (located on the lower level of the Library). No need to make an appointment—the “Research Rescue Room” is staffed by a reference librarian to assist Library users in:
• Identifying main ideas and concepts
• Formulating effective online search strategies
• Determining appropriate types of information required to address a specific research topic
• Exploring unique features of databases or other electronic resources available at the Woodruff Library
• Evaluating information sources
• Citing information sources
