NOTE: Woodruff Library policies governing Visitor Access, Parking, Interlibrary Loan and ARCHE cards will remain the same during renovation.
How will we enter the building during renovation?
From June 1-December 2009, Library users may enter the building through a rear side door facing Beckwith Street (near the handicapped parking spaces).

Library hours will vary based on construction activities.

Where will books be located?
All books have been relocated to the Upper Level. While most of the circulating collection is available on the shelves, some materials may require staff assistance for retrieval.

Can I check out and return books and other materials?
Yes, as long as you have a Library barcode. Book drops for returns will be placed outside the relocated building entrance facing Beckwith Street.

How can I get “one-on-one” research help from a librarian?
The Research Consultation Center will be relocated to the Quiet Study Room on the Lower Level. You also may reach a librarian using Woodruff’s Instant Messaging (“AskWoodruff” via Meebo) and email reference (askref@auctr.edu) services.

Are computers available for use during the renovation?
Yes, in the Quiet Study Room, Computer Lab and Training Labs (when instruction is not taking place).

Can I reserve a meeting room or the Exhibition Hall during renovation?
You may reserve Main and Upper Level meeting rooms through May 8; bookings will be suspended May 9-December 2009. The Exhibition Hall will not be available for bookings until March 2010.

Specialized software will be available on designated computers in the Computer Lab.

Yes. However, Reading Room hours and location may change to accommodate construction.
