"Sit on It!": Give Us Your Furniture Feedback at RWWL's "Transformation Station"
Atlanta University Center Students, Faculty and Staff: Come to the Library’s “Transformation Station” and give us your feedback!
Now through Friday, March 6, the Robert W. Woodruff Library of the Atlanta University Center is giving you a glimpse into the future at its “Transformation Station” Furniture Showcase. We’re hosting a March 2 “Survey Round-up” designed to gather campus input on 30 furniture options for the renovated Library.

From 9 AM on Monday, March 2, until 1 AM on Tuesday, March 3, Library staff will be stationed in the display area to answer questions and hand out treats to AUC community members who complete surveys.
Located on the RWWL’s Main Level and open for public viewing during Library hours, “Transformation Station” is a display of items under review as possible furniture options for the renovated space. AUC students, faculty and staff are asked to evaluate the displayed items for design, function and how they support activity within the Woodruff Library.
In May, the Woodruff Library will begin a major interior renovation, its largest capital improvement initiative since the building opened in 1982. The renovation, scheduled to take place from May 2009-April 2010, will transform Woodruff into a deeply digital, multimedia-ready learning space that better meets the information and research needs of the 21st century student.
