The ABC’s of Woodruff Transit

“The ABCs of Woodruff Transit” is a letter-oriented schedule and signage system that visually maps out routes, stops and arrival/departure times for the Robert W. Woodruff Library (RWWL) of the Atlanta University Center’s shuttle service. The system identifies the shuttle service’s four routes by the letters A, B, C and D, with two “Express” shuttles that travel to selected stops on the A and B routes during certain periods of each weekday. The letters and corresponding route names are visible on printed schedules inside the Library and each shuttle, on the electronic signs on the front of each shuttle and here on the Web.

VIEW SHUTTLE SERVICES SCHEDULE:

**SPECIAL NOTE: The Route A Campus Express and Route B Campus Express shuttles travel 15-minute loops between the West End/Ashley Terrace area to the entrances of the Spelman/Morehouse/CAU campuses and the Vine City MARTA area to the entrances of the Spelman/Morehouse/CAU campuses. At 10:30 a.m., Campus Express shuttles begin traveling to all stops on Route A and Route B.

The Robert W. Woodruff Library Shuttle Service is designed to provide Atlanta University Center students, faculty and staff safe transport between the Library, campuses and surrounding MARTA stations. During the fall and spring semesters, with the exception of break periods and holidays, shuttles run every hour the Library is open. The final shuttle of the day leaves the Library 10 minutes after the scheduled closing time. Shuttles arrive at listed stops every 30 minutes. Rider pick-up and drop-off is limited to designed stops. General arrival times for major stops are listed below.

NOTE: All arrival times are approximate. Buses will not leave the listed stops earlier than the designated times, but may be delayed due to traffic congestion and road construction.

Track RWWL Shuttles Via GPS Technology

Woodruff Transit riders can track the locations of shuttles using special GPS (Global Positioning System) technology. Shuttles are identified in reference to the three main shuttle locations - MARTA Vine City, MARTA West End and Woodruff Library - on the left-hand side of the page.
