Renew Materials
Library materials must be renewed on or before the due date. Materials cannot be renewed if they have been recalled or placed on hold by another patron, if the borrower has a delinquent interlibrary loan item(s), or any other outstanding fees due to the Library. As a courtesy, overdue notices are sent to borrowers after the loan period has expired.
Patrons may renew books online if they are not overdue. A Library barcode is required to complete the transaction. Log on to My Library Account and select the "Renew Items" option from the menu.
Materials that are overdue or have been renewed twice online must be taken to the Library's circulation desk for processing.

Interlibrary Loan
Distance learning students of the Atlanta University Center (AUC) member institutions receive the same privileges and hold the same responsibilities as students attending classess onsite at an AUC member institution. To mitigate the time it takes to ship and return materials, distance learning students are strongly advised to to use their local library's Interlibrary Loan services before requesting resources via the Robert W. Woodruff Library (RWWL) Interlibrary Loan Department .
The Robert W. Woodruff Library uses the ILLiad Interlibrary Loan Management System. ILLiad is a web-based interface that will allow users to access the RWWL Interlibrary Loan Service from any internet browser. To assist users in establishing an RWWL ILLiad user account, the Circulation Services Department will mail a Library card with barcode to distance learning students. Instructions for setting one's profile are found by clicking on First Time Users. Once users have created their profiles, they may then enjoy the convenience of keying in their names and passwords for access to their RWWL Interlibrary Loan accounts. The ILLiad Interlibrary Loan Management System allows users to have immediate access to the status of their requested documents. Subsequent requests may be placed without having to re-enter personal information.
Distance learning students are responsible for ILL materials requested of the Robert W. Woodruff Library from the day a resource is mailed from RWWL until its return to the Library. Resources are to be returned by the due date. Materials may be returned via the U.S. postal service or courier service. Please allow sufficent time for return of material to the Library by the due date to avoid possible fines or fees. Distance learning students are responsible for the materials, return postage, and any fines or fees that may accrue while the item is in route to the library.
