Does it cost to copy and print?

Yes. Print and copy jobs require a Smart Copy card to pay for printing and copying. Smart Copy cards cost $1.00 in cash (with 50 cents of copying or printing loaded onto it) or $5.00 if paid by debit/credit card (with $4.50 of value loaded on the card). More information can be found here.

Does the library have fax services?

Yes. Patrons can send and receive local faxes at the library. More information can be found here.

Where is the lost and found?

Lost and found items can be retrieved from the Security Office. Visit the security desk located in the front entrance of the library to inquire about a lost item. You can also call 404.978.2073 or email

Getting to the Library

How do I know when the shuttle is coming?

You can track the shuttles' locations using the shuttle tracker, or you can view the shuttle schedule or download the shuttle map.

Is visitor parking free?

Paid visitor parking is available in a lot at the rear (west) of the building from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on normal business days. The cost is $3 per day. After 5:00 p.m. on normal business days and on Saturdays and Sundays parking is free in the visitor's lot.

Where is the Archives Research Center located?

The Archives Research Center is located on the upper level of the library building and through the entrance doors to the Virginia Lacy Jones Exhibition Hall.

Non-University Visitors

Is the library open to non-AUC visitors and the public?

The library is generally open to the public Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Hours of access may change based upon campus calendars.  Please view our Library Access Policy for more information. 

Are exhibits open to the public?

The library hosts exhibits that are open to the public.  Information about current exhibits and hours of public access are located on our website.  Hours of public access may change based upon our campus calendars.

Are notary services offered by your Library?

How do I make a donation to the Library?

We welcome donations in support of the Atlanta University Center Robert W. Woodruff Library.  Donations may be made via our website or by calling 404.978.2018 for further information.
