University of Delaware’s UD Daily article “Focus on conservation” features Spelman students and Archives Research Center interns Kierra McHenry and Jara Harrington. The two interns participated in the college’s Summer Institute in Photograph Conservation institute, funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation as part of its HBCU Preservation Project, was designed to provide the students with guidance and instruction on the preservation of photographic and audiovisual materials.
