The Atlanta University Center (AUC) Robert W. Woodruff Library is a member of the Atlanta Regional Consortium for Higher Education (ARCHE) which consists of 20 public and private colleges and universities, five affiliated libraries and archives, and 12 corporate and non-profit community partners.
With the Library’s ARCHE membership, students and faculty have access to the library materials of all ARCHE member institutions.
- Faculty privileges are free.
- Students must pay a $50 refundable deposit (money order only). The deposit is refundable
if no fines have been incurred at the ARCHE institution.
Applications for the ARCHE card should be submitted to the Library’s Research Consultation Center, located on the main level of our building. Students and faculty should consult with the subject librarian responsible for developing resources in the specified subject field. According to the ARCHE agreement, the ARCHE Interlibrary Use Card may be issued only when the home library lacks sufficient resources in the designated research area.
