The Atlanta University Center Robert W. Woodruff Library and Watch The Yard have established an archival and media partnership dedicated to preserving, celebrating, and expanding public access to Black college culture and the rich history of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).

Through this collaboration, Watch The Yard will spotlight the Library, its collections, and the stories preserved within its archives. The partnership will also launch an ongoing series featuring approved archival photographs, images, and video from the Library’s collections, shared with Watch The Yard’s audience of more than 2.2 million followers.

Together, the organizations aim to amplify awareness of HBCU history and culture while increasing access to archival materials that document the enduring legacy, traditions, and achievements of Black colleges and universities.
