The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has announced that the 2024 NIH Public Access Policy will now apply to all articles accepted for pubication on or after July 1, 2025. 

These recent policy changes and an accelerated implementation timeline make it essential for all NIH-funded researchers to understand the significant new requirements and adjust their research plans accordingly to protect current and future funding.
