Get Materials from Other Libraries

Atlanta University Center (AUC) students and faculty who would like to request materials from other libraries must establish an account on the ILLiad Interlibrary Loan system. ILLiad allows users to access the interlibrary loan service from any Internet browser. From the ILLiad system, you can submit requests for books, journal articles and other materials. You can also view items you have checked out, submit renewal requests or download electronically delivered articles.

To establish an ILLiad account, you will need:

  • a library barcode number, and
  • a library borrowing account in good
    standing.

For assistance, visit the Information Services Center located on the Library’s main level. Contact ill@auctr.edu or 404.978.2025/2041 for questions.

First-Time Users

Returning Users

Distance Learning Users

Distance learning students of the Atlanta University Center member institutions receive the same privileges and hold the same responsibilities as students attending classes onsite. Due to the time it takes to ship and return materials, distance
learning students are strongly advised to use their local library's interlibrary loan services before requesting AUC Woodruff Library’s interlibrary loan services.

Distance learning students are responsible for ILLiad materials requested from the day a resource is mailed from the Library until their return to the Library. They are expected to pay return postage, and any fines or fees that may accrue while an item is en route to the Library.

Materials should be returned by the due date via the U.S. Postal Service or courier service. Please allow sufficient time for return of material to the Library by the due date to avoid possible fines or fees.

Materials must be returned to:
