The AUC Woodruff Library has partnered with Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., the nation’s oldest intercollegiate Black fraternity, to preserve and digitize rare historical materials. In collaboration with the HBCU Digital Library Trust, the AUC Robert W. Woodruff Library will proudly serve as the collection’s new custodial home. The collection will join the Library’s distinguished archival holdings, including the Morehouse College Martin Luther King Jr. Collection, the Joseph Echols Lowery and Evelyn Gibson Lowery Collection, and numerous other significant resources documenting Black history, leadership, and culture.

The collection is currently being processed and prepared for access. We welcome members of the Atlanta University Center community and the community at large to visit the AUC Woodruff Library and experience this remarkable collection once it is opened for research and public viewing.
