The Archives Research Center is thrilled to announce that the Alumni Profile Vertical Files are now open to researchers! Originally compiled and maintained by the Morehouse College Office of Alumni Engagement, this treasure trove includes newspaper clippings, photographs, and correspondence of individual alumni from 1919 to 2005.

This collection features files on some of our most distinguished alumni, including Martin Luther King Jr. ’48, Samuel Nabrit ’25, Julian Bond ’71, and Walter E. Massey ’58. You’ll also find files on remarkable Honorary Degree recipients like Coretta Scott King, Alex Haley, Fannie Lou Hamer, Willa Beatrice Player and Carter Woodson. These files offer a fascinating look into the lives and careers of these incredible individuals.
