The AUC Robert W. Woodruff Library is excited to announce a wonderful opportunity available to faculty at Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College and Spelman College.

Paywall to No Wall: Empowering HBCUs in Open Scholarship & Collaboration

This event will took place on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the AUC Woodruff Library.

Join us for a day-long symposium featuring AUC’s leading researchers and practitioners sharing work in open research, open science, and open data. The symposium will highlight scholarship on African American and African Diasporic history, sociology, public administration, and more.

Faculty members are eligible to apply for the following stipends:

  • Professional Development Stipends: $450 for up to 20 participants
  • Faculty Collaboration Stipends: $860 for partnerships with Digital Services
