Filming and Photography Request Form

AUC students and faculty filming and photography requests must be submitted at least one business day in advance of the project start date.

Media and news organizations must place requests directly with AUC Woodruff Library’s Communications Department.

AUC Student/Faculty Photography and Filming Guidelines:

  • All photography or filing inside the Atlanta University Center Robert W. Woodruff Library and/or the exterior of the building must by approved by the Library’s Communications Department. The Library requires at a minimum of two business days to review any proposed photography or filming requests.
  • You must complete the online AUC Student/Faculty Filming and Photography Request Form for consideration and approval. Email [email protected] if you have any questions pertaining to the form.
  • Once approved, please check in at Security Services at the main entrance of the Library and show them you approved photography and filming application before the beginning of photography or the photoshoot.
  • Photography and filming of interior and exterior must be generic. No close-up photography or filming of the Library’s branding (e.g. the logo or the signage) or any of the spaces that are identifiable.
  • Photography or filming of artwork and/or sculptures is only allowed with expressed permission.
  • Limited to no photography or filming of exhibits at the Archives Research Center is permitted.
  • No photography, filming or interviewing of Library patrons (AUC faculty, students, and visitors) or staff who are not already designated to participate is permitted.
  • All students or faculty participating mush show a valid AUC ID in order to enter the Library.
